Pecan-crusted pork chops with ancho-honey glaze and chunky applesauce
Tonight is my turn to cook today. So, dinner tonight will consist of:
- pecan crusted pork loin with an ancho-honey glaze
- said ancho-honey glaze thickened up into a lovely bbq sauce
- sour cream n chive mashed potatoes (of the homemade variety, not the boxed)
- homemade applesauce
- corn (of the canned variety, can liquids replaced with water)
- pumpkin bread (of the boxed variety)
There was no dessert tonight, though I think I’d serve something homey but slightly twisted like the double crisp cherry crisp from last week if I were to make a dessert.
